Our
site acts as a venue to allow anyone to offer individuals a
source whereas they can sign-up for participation in
a public tournament. We are involved in the actual financial transaction
between tournament host and tournament participants. We have no
control over the quality, safety or legality of the tournaments
advertised, or the truth and accuracy of the listing. We do
monitor all tournaments and events validity being posted.

Because
we are a venue, in the event that you have a dispute with one
or more users, you release localtournaments.com (and our officers,
directors, agents, employees) from claims,
demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every
kind and nature arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
2.
Posting Eligibility

Our
services are available only to individuals who can form legally binding
contracts under applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, our
services are not available to minors.

If
you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with
your parents or guardians.

Our fee policy is based upon the participants registering for the
posted tournament. A registration fee of $2.00 and a credit card processing
fee of approximately 2.5% will be automatically added to your posted
tournament fee. These fees will be automatically included in the total
cost for your tournament registration and will not be visible to the
person registering.
Example:
- Your
tournament costs: $50
- Adjusted
tournament cost (includes $2 + 2.5%): $54
(This will be displayed to the end user)
Our
posting software is designed to calculate and add the registration and
credit card fees to give you the total tournament cost. This final cost
will be posted in the information and registration screens for those
interested in registering for your tournament. This results
in no fees for you to post your tournament, making this a totally FREE
service.
- The participants
registration funds will be held in a Local Tournaments escrow account,
until the Host request a transfer of funds.
We may
change our Fees and Services policy from time to time. Our changes
to
the policy are effective after we provide you with at least thirty
30
days notice of the changes. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars.+
4. Hosting
Requirements

You
must be legally able to host the tournament you list on
our site. You must describe your listing and all terms of participation
on the listing page of our site. Your listings may only include
text descriptions and other content relevant to the listing.
If you receive at least one participant you are obligated as
the host to complete the transaction with the participant upon
tournament completeness, unless there is an exceptional circumstance,
such as:

(a) the
participant fails to meet the terms of your listing (such as
payment method)
(b) you
notify the participant of tournament cancellation and return
participant's sign up fee in full.
5.
Funds Transfer
- You will
be able to view your event funds at any time by logging in and accessing
the users menu and clicking on the link, "Request a Funds Transfer."
Members of localtournaments.com who currently have an active Pay Pal
account will receive their funds into their Pay Pal account usually
within 3 business days. All other fund transfers will be processed by
check and sent to the host's address of record, usually with in 7-14
days. Localtournaments.com and their affiliates are not responsible
for lost or delayed USPO mail errors.
